Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30, 1991, is better known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott), an American rapper, singer and songwriter. The stage name he uses is that of his favorite uncle and the first name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement for GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. The singer also signed a recording contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. It was followed with the release of a second mixtape called Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit track "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott released Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. After the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to release three singles at number one in less than one year in 2020.
