Nielson Hicks, born November 28 in 1992, is an American actor who is a rapper,
actor, singer and songwriter. His first appearance as the lead was in How to
Eat Fried Worms. He was also known for his role as Luther in the Disney XD
series Zeke and Luther and Wendell "Wen" Gifford in the film Lemonade
Mouth. He was DZ during the second season of Jonas and was also a regular on
the Disney XD Original Series Pair of Kings. Hicks was born in Las Vegas.
Before starring as the lead character in How to Eat Fried Worms, Hicks had a
recurring part on Titus. Alongside many others Disney Channel stars, he was a
part of Mostly Ghostly. He also played the co-lead role of Luther on Zeke &
Luther in 2009. He was the lead character Wendell "Wen", Gifford in
Lemonade Mouth in April 2011. He played King Boz on Pair of Kings, replacing
Mitchel Musso's role as King Brady. Hicks played Jason Zimmer in The Boy Next
Door which is an sexually charged thriller. Hicks recorded a remake of the MC
Hammer song "U Can't Touch This" along with co-stars Zeke and Luther
co star Daniel Curtis Lee. The music video debuted on Disney XD June 29, 2009.
The singer also made an instrumental version of "In the Summertime"
by Mungo Jerry. He composed and recorded the track "Happy Universal
Holidays" in the latter half of the year. At the beginning of 2011 He
released a single that was titled "Dance for Life" featuring Drew
Seeley for the Disney Channel Original Series Shake It Up, which was featured
in Shake It Up: Break It Down.
