Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, better known by his alias MrBeast is an American YouTube personality, entrepreneur and an philanthropist. [6] He is credited for creating the YouTube video style that focuses on extreme stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube when he was 13 using the name "MrBeast6000". His initial content was a mix of videos and Let's Plays in which he estimated the wealth of other YouTubers. Following his 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video garnered tens of thousands of views in just a couple of days, he became an instant YouTube star. His first videos included Let's Plays and videos which were a look at the amount of money other YouTubers have. Donaldson brought in a few former classmates to assist him in managing the growing popularity of the brand after it was established. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel with over 100 million subscribers was founded in 2022
