Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. After emigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as a child actor. She came to prominence for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and since in 2020. She also was a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also regularly featured in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was originally chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five because of the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But, she was kicked out of her sophomore year, and subsequently obtained the GED. Then she went on to earn an Associate of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
